Nychem® 1570x79 is one of our Medium Nitrile Emulsion offerings.  This line features a combination of very good oil, grease and hydrocarbon resistance, toughness/resilience, and tear and abrasion resistance.  Toughness, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance can be further enhanced though either vulcanization or by adding external crosslinking agents such as melamines, epoxies, phenolics or metal complexes.  Nychem® 1570x79 is a highly carboxylated butadiene acrylonitrile polymer latex that is stabilized with synthetic surfactants so it exhibits superior mechanical stability.   It is approved for use under FDA regulations 177.2600 (rubber articles). Common applications are nonwoven binders and textile coatings.

Paints & Coatings Industrial Coatings Nychem™ 1570x79 is a highly carboxylated medium nitrile latex that can be used to enhance textile coating properties for water resistance, oil or solvent resistance, abrasion and wear resistance and flexibility. It is often used in conjunction with other compatible water based polymers.
Textile & Leather Textile Coatings Nychem™ 1570x79 is a highly carboxylated medium nitrile latex that can be used to increase abrasion, oil and water resistance, improve tear strength, flexibility, and puncture resistance.
