Emerald Kalama Chemical provides a complete line of food and beverage preservatives, flavor and fragrance intermediates and other additives. The Kalama division is a diverse producer of specialty, fine and commodity chemicals. Its KalamaTM branded portfolio includes a wide range of products such as: benzaldehyde, benzyl alcohol, sodium and potassium benzoate, K-FLEXR dibenzoate plasticizers, hexyl cinnamic aldehyde, benzyl benzoate, cinnamic aldehyde and benzoic acid.
Through its Kalama division, Emerald now produces about 233,000 tons of product each year for use in the manufacture of foods and beverages, flavors and fragrances, adhesives, household care, pharmaceuticals, synthesis intermediates and many other applications.
