Emerald Specialties Business Unit joins together the expertise in additives for food and beverage, consumer and industrial applications such as coatings, graphic arts of our Hilton Davis(R) Colorants, Foam Control Products and resins and additives from Carolina Chemical.
- The Emerald Hilton Davis division is one of the most versatile color manufacturers in the world. A leading manufacturer of food, drug, and cosmetic colorants, pigments, dyes, dry colors, and dispersions. Our products are used globally in various food and beverage, coatings, graphic arts, plastics, paper, textile, personal care, home care, pharmaceutical and industrial applications.
- Emerald's Foam Control has two separate groups which provide focused expertise in the inhibition and prevention of foaming. The business comprised of two segments: the Food Foam Control group that focuses on food applications located at our AIB-Gold facility in Cheyenne, WY, and Industrial Foam Control group that supported by our Carolina Chemical group in Charlotte, NC.
- Our Carolina Chemical group in Charlotte, NC produces a wide variety of products for technical applications such as pulp/paper and wood treatment, textile finishing, coatings, adhesives, personal care, leather. Products include: defoamers, silicones/functional silanes, glyoxal resins and other crosslinkers, synthetic carnuaba waxes and repellent chemistry, and and other specialty additives.
